What is a point?
A Point is something which:
- shows a location.
- has no length, no width and no depth.
To get a point, mark a dot with a sharpen pencil as shown in the figure.
What are collinear points?
When two or more points lie on a same line, they are called collinear points
Here, points A, B, C and D lie on a same line, therefore, all these points are collinear points.
What are non-collinear points?
The points which do not lie on the same line are known as non-collinear points.
