In this post we will learn the days of the week.
First we will try to learn the day’s name, how they are called and how they are spelled.
After that we will learn the sequence of the days in the week like which day comes first and which is the last day of the week. Then we will learn some important information about the given days like which day’s are known as working days and which are known as non working.

After the conceptual understanding we will then move on to solve some questions related to days of the week concept.

(a) Monday is the first day of the week
(b) Sunday is the last day of the week
(c) Monday to Fridays are known as week days as most of the office work is done during these days
(d) Saturdays and Sundays are called weekends and usually public offices are closed during these days.

Days of the week worksheet
