**Solution**

Do the following step to solve the above addition

(a) **Finding Place Values**

(b) **Vertical Arrangement**

Arrange both the numbers column by column such that, ones and ones are in same column, Tens and Tens are in same column and so on….

(c) **Adding number column wise**

Here are the complete addition steps:**Step 01:**

Start addition from **“Ones”** column

⟹ 2 + 9 = 11

We will write 1 in the Ones column and 1 is carryover to Tens place

**Step 02**

Now add Tens Column

⟹ 3 + 3 + 1 = 7

**Step 03**

Add Hundreds column

⟹ 5 + 7 = 12 (1 Thousands and 2 Hundreds)

We will write 2 in Hundreds column and 1 is carryover

**Step 04**

Add Thousands Column

⟹ 1 + 7 = 8

**Hence 8271 is the final answer**

Do the following steps:

Arrange the number in column such that same place value numbers are in the same line

(c) **Adding Column wise**

Add the numbers by place value starting from right side.

Do the following steps:

Add the number in **“Ones”** column

⟹ **0 + 7 = 7**

**Step 02**:

Add the number in **Tens column**

⟹ **1 + 4 = 5**

**Step 03**:

Add numbers in Hundreds (H) Columns

⟹ **9 + 2 = 11**

We will write 1 in the hundred place and the other 1 will be carry over to thousandth place (shown in Green Color)

Add the digits in Thousands (T) Place

⟹ **1**+ **4 + 3 = 8**

**Step 05**

Add the digits in Ten Thousand (TT) Place

⟹ **1**+ **4 = 5**

**Step 06**

Add the digits in Hundred Thousand (HT) Place

⟹ **0**+ **5 = 5**

Add the digits in Million (M) place

Hence, **858157 is the solution of the given addition**

Follow the below steps

Arrange the numbers vertically such that numbers with same place value lie in the same line

(c) **Add number column wise**

Start adding numbers from the right end

Add digit in unit place

Add digits on Tens column

Write 6 in Hundreds place and 1 is carried over to thousands place

Add numbers in “Thousands” place

⟹ **1 +** **3 **+ **4 = 8**
